Candour in Counselling
I believe candour is an important part of meaningful counselling. I strive to create a space where we can be open, honest, and curious even when conversations feel difficult or uncomfortable. This means offering thoughtful feedback, asking meaningful questions, and gently challenging patterns when it may support your growth. Candour is always approached with compassion, respect, and without judgment, helping us build a trusting relationship where genuine reflection and meaningful change can happen.
Anti-Oppression is at the Heart of this Practice
Personal growth is an exciting challenge and shouldn’t be complicated by bias, prejudice, or ignorance. Candour Counselling is designed to be inclusive of all regardless of gender, sexuality, race, class, or ability. It is the different parts of your identity that connect to create your unique experiences and this will be respected and considered during our work together. This remains an ongoing priority in order to maintain safety and comfort of all clients.
